The Challenge

Most med spa websites are digital brochures — they list services, show before-and-after photos, and offer a phone number. They're passive. They don't sell.

Lumina Aesthetics came to us with a clear vision: build an ultra-luxury digital experience that works as hard as their estheticians do. Their clientele is discerning, their treatments are premium, and their website needed to match both.

The brief: create a site that feels like walking into a high-end spa, qualifies leads automatically, recommends treatments based on individual skin concerns, and converts consultations into booked appointments — all without a staff member touching the keyboard.

The Approach

We treated this project as a revenue system, not a website. Every section was engineered with a conversion goal: reduce friction, increase trust, and move visitors toward a booking.

We started with the brand foundation — a dark luxury aesthetic with champagne gold accents and a cinematic hero experience that immediately signals "this is not your average med spa." From there, we layered in three core AI-powered systems.

System 1: AI Skin Analysis

The centerpiece of the experience is a real-time AI skin analysis tool. Visitors upload a photo or answer a short intake questionnaire, and the system returns a personalized skin profile with specific treatment recommendations pulled from the Lumina service catalog.

This isn't a gimmick — it's a qualification engine. By the time a visitor reaches the booking page, they already know which treatment they need, why they need it, and what results to expect. Objection handled before the consultation even starts.

System 2: Smart Booking Automation

Lumina's previous booking flow required staff to manually send confirmation emails, intake forms, and pre-appointment care instructions. We eliminated all of it.

The new system generates a fully personalized confirmation message the moment a booking is made — including the specific treatment booked, pre-appointment preparation steps, and a warm, brand-consistent message that reads like it was written by the spa director, not a mail-merge template.

Staff now receive a clean internal summary. Clients receive a premium experience. No one types anything.

System 3: Personalized Treatment Plans

The consultation quiz doesn't just recommend a single treatment — it generates a full multi-step treatment plan, sequencing services for maximum results over 3, 6, and 12 months.

This is the close. By the time a client sees their personalized plan, they're not evaluating whether to book — they're deciding when. The plan creates urgency, demonstrates expertise, and gives the spa a natural upsell path into package deals.

Design Direction

The visual language is deliberate. Dark backgrounds (#0A0A0A) with champagne gold (#C9A84C) accents create the luxury signal instantly. Typography is layered — a serif for emotional warmth, a modern sans for authority.

Every interaction has been motion-designed: cards hover with a subtle gold glow, the hero particles respond to mouse movement, and section transitions feel like turning pages in a luxury magazine rather than scrolling a website.

This isn't decoration — it's trust-building at the speed of perception.
